Arts For All is a dance company committed to fostering cultural exchange and strengthening relationships between communities through artistic practice. Since its establishment in 2015, the organization has developed projects centered on African traditional and contemporary dance as a platform for dialogue, education, and social connection.Between 2015 and 2017, Arts For All organized workshops in Africa focused on the transmission and learning of African traditional dance. In 2017, the company implemented a Community Dance Exchange Workshop in Senegal, promoting intercultural collaboration and community engagement through shared creative processes.Since relocating its base to Japan in 2018, Arts For All has continued to expand its activities while maintaining its founding vision. In the same year, the company organized “African Contemporary Night” at Art Theater Dance Box in Kobe, introducing diverse African contemporary expressions to Japanese audiences. Additionally, outreach activities began with elderly residents at Happy House Rokko, using dance as a tool for intergenerational exchange and social inclusion.In 2019, Arts For All launched the first “Happy African Festival” at Happy House Rokko. The festival has since developed as a platform for artistic presentation, cultural dialogue, and community participation, contributing to ongoing exchange between African and Japanese communities.
